Gill Man Faces Drug Charges

(Gill, MA) A Gill man who was taken into custody on January 6th , is facing drug charges in Greenfield District Court and Franklin Superior Court. 40-year-old Rufus Thomas was issued charges related to drug trafficking after being arrested with 730 bags of fentanyl. The drug had a street value of over $2000. Thomas had an active warrant related to charges stemming from a shooting incident in Gill last July. He is scheduled for a bail hearing on January 24thand a pretrial conference on February 7th.
