Gill Police Chief’s Cruiser Hit By Vehicle In Bernardston

(Gill, MA) — Gill’s Police Chief escaped serious injury after his cruiser was struck by another car in Bernardston Thursday morning. Gill Chief Christopher Redmond declined medical treatment today after the accident on Route 10 in Bernardston. Redmond provided medical assistance to the two people in the other vehicle, who were transported to Baystate Medical Center. A State Police investigation revealed the unidentified driver was operating erratically before the accident and failed to stop at the intersection.
