GoFundMe Launched To Keep WWII Veteran In His Home

Brenda and Paul Anderson, owners of Trail Head Outfitters in Orange, have launched a GoFundMe for an anonymous WWII Veteran referred to as “Sam.” Due to physical disabilities, Sam is unable to live out the rest of his life in the house he and his wife raised their children in. The Anderson’s have set up a fundraiser to bring in donations, but also to try to find volunteer contractors and plumbers to help make Sam’s house handicap accessible. In addition to serving as a Second Class Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy during WWII, Sam also survived the Korean War. To learn more or help donate, click here.
