(Northampton, MA) — The race to become Northampton’s mayor has one fewer candidate in the field. Rosechana Gordon dropped out of the race Monday, citing “health and personal reasons.” Gordon was one of five candidates to replace outgoing Mayor David Narkewicz. The remaining four–City Council President Gina-Louise Sciarra, 10-time candidate Roy Martin, social worker Shanna Fishel and transportation analyst Marc Warner–will meet in the September 28 primary. The two top vote getters will go on the ballot in November.
