(Boston, MA) Governor Healey announced yesterday that she will be signing two executive orders to protect the ocean. One is a directive to the state to set biodiversity conservation goals for 2030, 2040, and 2050. The second executive order is a ban on the purchase of single-use plastic bottles by state agencies, effective immediately.
