GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law’s National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Formula Program, the Massachusetts Department of Transportation will be executing their Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Deployment Plan.

Through the plan, MassDOT will strategically construct electric vehicle charging stations to facilitate electric reliability across the state as required by the law. It is expected that the state will receive significant federal funding over the next five years for the implementation of the plan.

On October 28th at 6 p.m., MassDOT will be hosting an Open House at the Greenfield Public Library to share more details about the plan including charging station site selection and next steps.
