(Turners Falls, MA) A state grant award celebration was held at the Shea Theater in Turners Falls last week. In attendance was Keynote speaker Secretary for Economic Development Yvonne Hao along with other officials including Commonwealth’s Director of Rural Affairs, Anne Gobi, Senator Jo Comerford and Representative Natalie Blais. Montague was awarded $132,000 to fund the demolition design for the Strathmore Mill and $500,000 to reduce Combined Sewer Overflow Events.
