This past Saturday almost 200 people showed up to participate in the 20th annual Green River Cleanup day, just one of the 128 groups participating in the Connecticut River Conservancy’s Source to Sea Cleanup. It’s estimated that one and a half tons were cleared from the Green River Saturday including a boat, chairs, glass, clothing, tires, and many other items.
