GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The 410 miles of Connecticut River watershed were cleared of debris Saturday in the annual “Connecticut River Conservancy Source to Sea” event.
In Greenfield, the 21st annual Green River cleanup organized over 200 volunteers to dozens of sites where debris such as textiles, chairs, cardboard, wood, and tires were all fished out of the river and surrounding area.
