(Greenfield, MA) — The Greenfield Board of Health has voted to put a mask mandate in place for all public buildings in the city, including businesses. The board made the decision at its Monday night meeting, citing a rising number of Covid cases. Previously, the mask mandate was just for public government buildings in Greenfield, but has been expanded to include all indoor public places, including businesses. Mayor Roxann Wedegartner is expected to sign off on the mandate, which would go into effect on Monday, September 20.
