Greenfield Budget Writers Set To Review City’s Proposed Budget For Next Year

(Greenfield, MA) — Budget season is officially underway in the city of Greenfield. The city council’s Ways and Means Committee has released a schedule of budget review sessions for 2021. First up is Mayor Roxann Wedegartner’s fiscal 2022 capital budget, which the full council is expected to vote on April 20. The mayor’s proposed operating budget for next year is expected to top $54 million dollars, and will be finalized at the council’s annual budget meeting in May.
