(Greenfield, MA) – The Greenfield Charter Review Committee is set to meet tonight, July 28, at 5:30 pm. The meeting will be held at the Greenfield Town Hall on the Second Floor or virtually, information for which can be found here. The agenda can also be found at that link. Articles V, VI, VII, VIII and IX of the Charter will be under review. A copy of the Greenfield Charter can be found here. Articles V, VI, VII, VIII, and IX deal with finance and fiscal procedures, administrative organization, elections and election related matters, general provision, and transitional provisions respectively. Members of the Charter Review Committee include Alan Woods, Erin Donnally Drake, John Lunt, David Singer, Chair, Christine Forgey, Shiela Gilmour, Otis Wheeler, and Ashli Stempel. The Greenfield Charter is reviewed every 10 years by three members of the Greenfield City Council and four appointees by the Mayor.
