Greenfield City Council-School Committee Stipend Raise Remains Tabled–Mayor’s Salary Increased

(Greenfield, MA) — Greenfield city councilors and school committee members won’t be getting raises–at least not yet. A measure to increase yearly stipends for the council and school committee remains tabled following a city council vote Wednesday night. The council did adjust the city code to increase the mayor’s base salary from $70-thousand to $85-thousand dollars.
