(Greenfield, MA) – The Greenfield City Council gets new leadership tonight. The council will hold its organizational meeting at the John Zon Community Center and will elect a new president. Current President Penny Ricketts has said she will not be a candidate for the post this year, but will remain on the council having just been re-elected to a four-year term. Potential candidates for the job include current Council Vice President Sheila Gilmour, current Ways and Means Chair Christine Forgey, and current Precinct 2 Councilor and former Council President Dan Guin.
