GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Greenfield City Council will be having a special council meeting on Monday, March 18th AT 6 p.m. to discuss the resolution supporting a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. The meeting will be fully remote and there will be opportunity for public comment. According to City Council President John Bottomley at this month’s committee chairs meeting, the public comment period will be thirty minutes and limited to two minutes per person, after looking at how other cities like Northampton have arranged their meetings related to ceasefire resolutions.
