GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Greenfield City Hall will be closing temporarily on Friday, January 3rd for emergency maintenance repairs. City Hall will reopen on Monday, January 6th if all goes to plan.

City Hall to Close on Friday, January 3, Set to Re-open on Monday, January 6

GREENFIELD – The City of Greenfield is announcing that City Hall will not open on Friday, January 3 for normal business hours. This is due to a maintenance project that will take place throughout the weekend to remedy the building’s internal plumbing systems.

The expectation is for City Hall to re-open for normal business hours on Monday, January 6. The public and local media outlets will be notified if that plan is alerted.

Located on 14 Court Square, Greenfield City Hall is home to the Office of the Mayor, the Finance Department, the Assessors Department, the City Clerk’s Office, the Licensing Office, the City Clerk’s Office and Treasurer/Collector’s Office and the Energy and Sustainability Department.

Upon completion of the maintenance project, City Hall will re-open its public-facing restrooms on the building’s first floor.
