Greenfield Covid 19 Cases Rise Slightly

(GREENFIELD) — The number of confirmed Covid 19 cases in the city of Greenfield rose slightly Wednesday, up to a total of 175 as of Thursday morning. There was one additional death reported, for a new total of 41. There have been 120 recoveries.

Greenfield Fire Department remembers 9/11 24 years later: “We will never forget”

On this 24th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks on America, the Greenfield Fire Department hosted a ceremony of remembrance at the fire station at 41 Main Street.

Fire Chief Robert Strahan addressed a small gathering of residents and GFD members. Strahan said September 11 this year was in some ways was very reminiscent of September 11, 2001.
