GREENFIELD COVID 19 UPDATE: 79 Confirmed Cases

(GREENFIELD, MA) — Greenfield health officials have released the latest information on the COVID 19 pandemic in the city. As of Friday morning, there have been 79 confirmed cases, up 2 from Thursday morning’s update. There have been 19 deaths attributed to the virus. There have been 21 recoveries of residents.

Greenfield Fire Department remembers 9/11 24 years later: “We will never forget”

On this 24th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks on America, the Greenfield Fire Department hosted a ceremony of remembrance at the fire station at 41 Main Street.

Fire Chief Robert Strahan addressed a small gathering of residents and GFD members. Strahan said September 11 this year was in some ways was very reminiscent of September 11, 2001.
