(Greenfield, MA) Greenfield remains in the yellow according to the latest report by the Department of Public Health, or 4-8 new cases in the last 14 days per 100,000 people in the population. The designation according to the latest town-by-town report indicates there have been 11 new COVID-19 diagnosis in the last 14 days. Cases in the City of Greenfield appear to be climbing at 243 total COVID-19 positive cases. However, the percent of positive cases is still less than 1%, at .67%. If Greenfield becomes a red location, or high risk for COVID-19 transmission, the city will have to fall back to Stage 3 Phase 1 reopening guidelines. Locally, Buckland was recently designated as a red community. Cases in Buckland are still climbing with a percent positive rate of 31.82%. The latest town-by-town health report can be found here.
