(Greenfield, MA) The Greenfield Department of Public Works is offering two options for Christmas Tree disposal. Residents who receive curbside trash collection can leave their Christmas trees curbside for a no-cost collection between January 2nd and January 19th, they will be collected on the same day as trash collection but in a different vehicle. Christmas trees can also be bought to the Transfer Station at no charge for residents and ten dollars for non-residents.

The Greenfield Department of Public Works announces options for Christmas Tree disposal.
Residents have two options:
- Greenfield residents who receive curbside trash collection can place Christmas trees curbside for collection at no charge. The curbside collection period will commence January 2rd through January 19th. It will be on the same day as trash collection, however a different vehicle collects the trees.
OR
- Christmas trees can be brought to the Transfer Station at no charge for Greenfield Residents. There is a ten dollar charge for non-Greenfield residents.
Transfer Station Hours: Tuesday through Friday 11:00 to 2:30; and Saturdays * 7:30 to 2:00 p.m. (Will be closed Friday and Saturday, December 29th and 30th)
* Beginning January 15th the Saturday hours will be 7:30 to 12:00.
