(Greenfield, MA) — A popular Greenfield coffee spot has been closed for the past two days because of COVID 19. Greenfield city officials confirmed that the Dunkin Donuts on north Federal Street was forced to close after an employee contracted the coronavirus. Yellow tape was seen blocking both entrances to the parking lot and drive through. The closure will allow the location to be disinfected before reopening. The Greenfield Mayor’s Office chief of staff, Danielle Letourneau, confirmed that there were cases of COVID-19 at the Dunkin Donuts on Federal Street.  It is standard practice to put anyone exposed to COVID-19 under quarantine and the location is likely closed because many of the employees were quarantined. Letourneau said the health department does not close down restaurants.
