(Greenfield, MA) — A fundraiser to repair an erosion problem at the Franklin County Fairgrounds continues to generate support. Franklin County Agricultural Society President Michael Nelson has announced that Greenfield Savings Bank has donated $25,000 dollars to the cause. The society has also set up a Go Fund Me campaign to help raise the $225,000 necessary to mitigate the mudslide problem at the rear of the fairgrounds property, which will be the focus of a May 11th hearing of the Greenfield Conservation Commission.
