(Greenfield, MA) The Greenfield Fire Department responded to a small fire at Valley Steel Stamp in the Greenfield Industrial Park on Wednesday morning. An on-site sprinkler system ended up extinguishing a small fire in the machinery section of the building. Workers were in the building at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported. The fire was contained to a machine that sucks metal and dust that is a byproduct at the facility.
