(Greenfield, MA) — Greenfield residents shouldn’t throw away their masks just yet. The Greenfield Board of Health is urging Mayor Roxann Wedegartner to issue an executive order mandating that anyone above the age of 5 wear face coverings in all indoor public places in Greenfield, regardless of their vaccination status. The latest numbers from the state say there were 162 positive COVID 19 cases in Greenfield in November, 96 of which were reported in cases in the two-week period between November 14th and the 27th. Wedegartner says she is taking the request under advisement.
