GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Greenfield Public Schools have found a new Assistant Superintendent; Stephan Sullivan, the current Superintendent of Granby Schools will step into the role efective July 1st when the current Assistant Superintendent Karin Patenaude will begin her new position of Superintendent. Current Superintendent Christine DeBarge will be retiring after this school year.

The announcement was made in this week’s Superintendent Parent Updates wherein DeBarge wrote, “We are pleased to share that Stephen Sullivan will be joining the GPS as our new Assistant Superintendent, effective July 1.  Stephen is currently serving as the Superintendent of the Granby Public Schools.  He is looking forward to a position that is more directed involved with curriculum and instruction.  Stephen will take over when Karin Patenaude assumes the role of Superintendent upon my retirement on June 30.”
