GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — On Thursday, June 19th, at 12 p.m. the city of Greenfield will recognize Juneteenth with a proclamation ceremony at the Greenfield Common. Speakers at the ceremony will include city officials, the Greenfield Business Association and Moving Mountains Media.

Thursday, June 19: Greenfield Recognizes Juneteenth with Proclamation Ceremony
GREENFIELD – On Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 12:00 p.m., the City of Greenfield will recognize Juneteenth with a proclamation ceremony on the Greenfield Common (located in front of City Hall). The event is hosted by Moving Mountains Media and Mpress Bennu in partnership with the city. The ceremony also includes a musical performance from Twice as Smart students.
