(Greenfield) Mayor Roxanne Wedegartner and Greenfield Public Health Director Valerie Bird have issued an ADVISORY ASKING  the city of Greenfield, and the public to wear masks while conducting essential business, visiting the grocery store or pharmacy, and when social distancing is not possible. This ADVISORY is in line with current CDC and Massachusetts guidelines. Stay at home measures are still the most effective method to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and Mayor Wedegartner is encouraging the public to stay home as much as possible. Materials that can function as a face mask include a scarf, bandana, or a cloth mask.
