(Greenfield, MA) — Progress continues on the construction of Greenfield’s new public library. Demolition work on the site is set to wrap up in the next two weeks, after which crews will begin working to pour the new building’s foundation. The $19.5 million dollar library is being paid for, in part, by a $9.4 million dollar state library grant, just over $1.8 million of which has already been received by the city.
