GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Miguel Rivera, a 47 year old Greenfield man, was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole on Friday after a Franklin County Superior Court jury found him guilty of 21 child sexual abuse charges and twelve other charges including assault and battery, violating an abuse protection order, open and gross lewdness, and destruction of property. Three victims came forward in the case along with their mother, who discovered the abuse in 2020.
Rivera will serve his sentences concurrently at the maximum security Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Lancaster, Massachusetts, with the possibility of parole after twenty years.
