(Greenfield, MA) Greenfield Mayor Roxann Wedegartner proclaimed June to be pride month at a flag raising ceremony on Friday. Greenfield businesses have been encouraged by the Franklin County Pride organization to fill storefronts with celebratory pride decorations this month.
Franklin County Pride is also hosting the June 10th pride parade which will begin at Greenfield Middle School at noon on Saturday and will end at Energy Park where the rally will be held from 1 to 3:30 p.m. with Senator Jo Comerford and Representative Jim McGovern present at the event.
