GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — To prevent elderly and disabled residents on fixed incomes from losing their homes due to unpaid property taxes, the City of Greenfield is preparing to fundraise for their Elderly and Disabled Taxation Fund. While a municipal program, it is entirely funded through community donations and managed by a five-member committee.
