(Greenfield, MA) — An ongoing public health issue at Greenfield’s new parking garage is about to become more expensive to rectify. Recently, it was revealed that the garage, as well as a number of parks in town, have become the site of public urination and defecation. And now, the town’s Board of Health has learned that such activity has caused damage to the garage’s elevator, which will require repair work which could cost as much as $1,500 dollars. There is no estimate, as yet, for what it will cost to correct the existing problem in the garage and the city’s parks.
