GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Greenfield is addressing the land surface “Hot Spot” in the neighborhood surrounding Greenfield Middle School and Baystate Franklin Medical Center by increasing tree cover. 70 new trees will be planted over the next four weeks by Amherst Nurseries thanks to a Cool Corridors Grant.
