(Combined Sources) The Greenfield Police Department is reviewing its use-of-force policy. This comes after a request from the community after the death of George Floyd in May. According to Greenfield Police Chief Robbie Haigh, the department is responding to a public rally held this summer where people asked the city to defund the police department and reallocate police funds. Any changes to police policy would come from department heads, police unions, the city’s public safety commission and the mayor’s office.
