(Greenfield, MA) The Greenfield Public Library Association has announced that it has hit a fundraising goal. Yesterday, the association announced they have received $2 million in donations. Just last fall $1.8 million in donations were reported and a postcard campaign helped hit the $2million mark. The money will help reduce the city’s cost to the new library which is currently being built. Over 650 people have donated money for the new library project. Donations have ranged from 50 cents to $500,000.
