(Greenfield, MA) — The city of Greenfield is moving ahead with efforts to build a new skateboard park. The city is preparing to apply for a Parkland Acquisitions and Renovations for Communities grant which would finance the majority of the construction of the new park in what is currently a parking area near Main and Chapman streets. A local match will be required to secure the grant. Officials are hoping to have the new park built by 2023.
