(Turners Falls, MA) Greenfield Savings Bank is collaborating with F.M. Kuzmeskus of Gill to host a School Bus Safety Event at their Turners Falls branch at 282 Avenue A. The event will take place this Saturday, August 27th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and is free and open to the public.

“Whether your child has ridden the school bus for years or this will be their first-time riding, this is a great opportunity to prepare for the school year,” said Kevin De Rosa, Greenfield Savings Bank’s Vice President, Retail Distribution Network. “Greenfield Savings Bank is proud to sponsor and host this event.”

Safety staff from F.M. Kuzmeskus will be on site with one of their yellow school buses conducting demonstrations for safe ways to wait for the bus, get on the bus, clear the doors, sit on the bus, and exit the bus.

Greenfield Savings Bank will be giving out school supplies during the even while  supplies last and a tent will be set up in case of inclement weather.
