GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Green River School in Greenfield will be turned over to the city after a vote to decommission the building by the school committee. It is uncertain what will happen to the over $1 million the district has received from the Massachusetts School Building Authority to make repairs to the school, with the stipulation that the building be used fro educational purposes for at least the next 50 years.
