(Greenfield, MA) The City of Greenfield is seeking input on a new skatepark. The meeting will be held at 20 Sanderson Street on the Second Floor on April 7 at 7pm. A contract for $780,000 was recently signed for the project by Mayor Roxann Wedegartner and the new skatepark is set to be constructed in the northern portion of the Chapman and Davis streets public parking lot. $350,000 is set to come out of the City’s Capital funds, $400,000 is coming from the state Parkland Acquisitions and Renovations for Communities grant, and the rest is $30,000 in donations.
