(Greenfield, MA) The rise in COVID-19 cases is impacting the City of Greenfield. Greenfield has also surpassed 100 deaths from COVID-19 since March 2020, a somber moment for Mayor Roxann Wedegartner.
“My thoughts are constantly with all who have been impacted by this disease, especially those who have lost family members and friends. It is far too many of our friends and neighbors who are grieving and it’s important to remember to be there for each other,” said Wedegartner.
Many of the new COVID-19 cases are among teenagers and young adults, according to case count information published by the Greenfield Health Department. The total COVID-19 case count in Greenfield is 733, with 11 active cases and 722 recoveries and 102 deaths. This information is as reported on the Greenfield.gov website which can be located here.
