(Greenfield, MA) — Greenfield public school students have been put on notice regarding a disturbing new social media trend. The “slap a teacher challenge” on the social media platform Tik Tok challenges participants to post videos of participants slapping teachers, which Greenfield School Superintendent Christine Debarge says may constitute assault and will not be tolerated. A district-wide notification to that effect was circulated late last week.
