Students in Greenfield will begin their school year remotely. The Greenfield School Committee unanimously came to that decision with a late vote on Wednesday. Superintendent Jordan Harper explained at the most recent meeting that there would be some in-person services offered with social distancing in place. The school committee chair Amy Proietti told the audience at the latest meeting that the district cannot afford anything but the remote model due to a current lack of state aid.
