(Greenfield, MA) The Greenfield School Committee has received a letter from the Greenfield Education Association that asks about the current superintendent and her leave of absence. According to School Committee Chair Amy Proietti, Superintendent Jordana Harper has not been actively working for the past 3 weeks. Proietti declined to add any further information citing Harper’s right to privacy. The letter from the education association asked about who was acting as superintendent in Harpers absence. Yesterday, Proietti explained that current superintendent-licensed principals are handling the role. Harper announced last fall that she will be leaving the district at the end of this school year.
