(Greenfield, MA) Starting Tuesday, September 5th, the city of Greenfield will be charging 28 cents per kilowatt hour to charge electric vehicles at the 14 city-owned charging stations to cover the city’s electricity and networking fees. The Greenfield Public Library has two new charging stations that can each charge two vehicles at a time and new charging stations will also be coming to the Greenfield Fire Station. The new ChargePoint stations feature faster charging speeds and sending texts to drivers when their vehicle is fully charged.
