.(Greenfield, MA) — Budding Jedi Masters in grades five through seven will get the chance to learn more about the craft later this week. The Greenfield Department of Public Works on Friday will hold a “Jedi Academy” in Greenfield beginning at 6pm at 20 Sanderapn Street. The free event will allow “Padawans,” or Jedi Apprentices, to learn the ways of the force, master lightsaber skills, and build their own droid to take home. It’s part of the DPW’s “Rec the Night” aimed at inspiring creativity, adventure, and fun in middle school students. More information about these events can be found here.
