(Greenfield, MA) — Greenfield’s mandatory indoor mask policy is coming to an end. Mayor Roxann Wedegartner announced Wednesday morning that the order requiring people to wear masks inside all public buildings, including businesses, will be lifted on November 8. The mandate was put in place by executive order on September 20th. Wedegartner said masks will still be required to do business in Greenfield town offices. Individual business owners who chose to continue the indoor mask mandate may do so. Montague and Sunderland have issued similar orders in the wake of a reduction in COVID 19 cases.
