Greenfield To Receive $825,000 In Block Grant Funding

(Greenfield, MA) — The city of Greenfield is once again a “block grant” community. The mayor’s office has announced that Greenfield will receive $825-thousand dollars again this year through the Massachusetts Community Development Block Grant Program. The grant will go to fund a number of social service projects related to literacy, food distribution and a number of long-awaited sewer infrastructure improvements, among others.
