(Greenfield, MA) — A stop for a broken brake light leads to the arrest of two people on drug trafficking charges. State Police say troopers on patrol June 2nd observed a blue Ford Fusion with a non-functioning brake light speeding near a construction zone north of Exit 43. The car was pulled over and a subsequent search revealed a large quantity of cocaine and fentanyl, as well as a switchblade and various items consistent with drug distribution. Arrested were the driver, Sara Moses of Vermont and the passenger Tyonne Pierce of East Hartfiord, Connecticut. Both were arraigned on multiple charges this week in Greenfield District Court.
