Greenfield, Turners Falls Fire Departments improving response times

GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Greenfield and Turners Falls Fire Department are entering into a new agreement to strengthen their mutual response relationship and improve response times to structure fires.

Under the new agreement when a building fire is reported in either town, both departments will respond to the scene, as opposed to the current system of waiting for mutual aid to be called in.
