GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Greenfield warming center for unhoused individuals opened Tuesday evening as the wind chill has dropped into the single digits for much of the region.
The warming center is located at the Salvation Army building at 72 Chapman Street and will also be open tonight and Thursday night from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
The warming center is not organized as a shelter and will not have beds available.
